Driftwood Weiss Lake is a 13-acre RV park located directly on the shores of Weiss Lake Alabama, just 20 minutes from the Georgia state line. We're pet friendly and open year-round, offering both short-term and long-term RV lots with full hook-ups and discounted monthly rates. Driftwood has operated continuously since 1976 and has been under new ownership since 2018. Many of the families who camp with us are now in their fourth generation, making Driftwood an important part of their family history.

Explore Driftwood Campground

Life at Driftwood is intentionally simple. We aim to keep camping affordable so your family can kick back, relax, and savor the experience. Unlike some large RV resorts, we do not strive to be fancy or extravagant; you won't overpay for amenities that you never use, and we don't have restrictions on the age of your camper - we do, however, insist that it is clean, safe and in good working order.

Campground Amenities

One of the greatest advantages of Weiss Lake is the freedom to ski, surf, and pull your kids on a tube without constantly worrying about dodging other boats or dealing with disruptive boat wake. You can claim a quiet cove all to yourself, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, especially children.

With minimal boat traffic, anglers can enjoy peaceful fishing, often having the best spots entirely to themselves. Night fishing is also a safe and relaxing option here, thanks to the calm atmosphere and low number of boats on the water.

Weiss Lake provides convenient access to three restaurants located directly on the water. There is ample dock space for your boat, and during high season you can enjoy live music, making your lake outing even more memorable.

Uncrowded and Peaceful Lakeside Setting

If you’re looking for a lake RV camping experience that’s truly serene, Weiss Lake is an ideal destination. Unlike many more popular lakes, Weiss Lake remains uncrowded on weekends and is often completely unused during the week, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy the water without the usual crowds.

Our Location

Nestled on the southeast corner of the Round Mountain peninsula on Weiss Lake, our family-owned campground offers a safe and friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy.
